Backdoor in Sony IP Cameras [UPDATE FIRMWARE]

It has been documented that there are backdoors in Sony IPELA Engine IP cameras.
These type of cameras are mostly used by retail stores or company offices.

The vulnerability makes it possible to activate telnet via a simple HTTP request on the affected products. Which then makes the intruder capable of logging in with the default username and password.

If you happen to work at a facility with Sony powered IP cameras, then please do make sure your responsible co-worker knows about this vulnerability.
